Diz’s Theme Night – “A Wonderful World of Diz-ney”
“To all who come to this happy place: Welcome.”
Walt Disney spoke these words during the dedication of the Disneyland Resort in 1955. Some 65 years later, Diz’s Cafe embraces and celebrates the same philosophy.
This philosophy was clearly on display as our doors opened for “The Wonderful Night of Diz-ney”, our second theme night of 2021 on Friday, July 16th! From a special menu featuring nods to The Little Mermaid ( Ursula’s Fried Shrimp), Lady and The Tramp (Lady’s Pasta Bowl) and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Poison Apple Martini) to Mickey and Minnie Mouse ears and Disney photo props for our guests, we were happy to say “Be Our Guest” (okay, a nod to Beauty and the Beast!) to Disney (and Diz-ney!) fanatics of all ages!
Guests also enjoyed a customized Diz-ney word search game while singing along to the evening’s Disney playlist. A special congratulations to Heidi who won a $25 Diz’s Cafe gift card for winning this spirited competition.
While we are happy to welcome you to 860 Elm Street anytime, we hope you will join us for an upcoming Diz’s Theme Night! Theme Nights are generally the third Friday of every month from 5 to 9 p.m. and here’s the schedule for the rest of 2021:
