Downtown Manchester has a new tradition brewing — and we’re here for it.
At our last Downtown Business Collaborative meeting, local business owners talked about a fun trend popping up on Elm Street. Folks are turning a simple visit to downtown into an activity-filled restaurant “hop.” Whether they’re heading to a show, shopping, or checking out something like the Granite State Escape Room, people are making multiple stops — a drink at one spot, apps at another, supper somewhere cozy, and dessert at the next — all before or after their main activity. It’s become a choose-your-own-adventure night filled with local flavor, friendly faces, and plenty of downtown charm.
Erin from Campo Enoteca mentioned that she’s noticed her guests turning it into a full-on game, hopping their way around downtown for the fun of it. At Diz’s, we’ve seen the same — and we love it. This downtown hop celebrates everything that makes our community shine: small businesses, great food, walkable streets, and a city neighborhood where people live, work, and visit. Downtown Manchester is a place we’re all proud to call ours.
For Diz’s, this wave of restaurant-hopping fits perfectly with what we hear every day. Downtown residents and visitors want variety, comfort, and spaces where they can relax, sip, snack, or settle in for a full meal. And with so many awesome local restaurants just steps from each other, why not make your rounds-around Downtown? For ideas on making your rounds visit www.visitmanchesternh.com.
