Diz’s Theme Night – “Let’s Go Camping”
Chances are if you grew up in New Hampshire or live here now, you’ve been to a fun summer camp or have spent time camping in a few of the state’s beautiful campgrounds! From making s’mores to sleeping in a tent, cabin or camper to cooking a meal in a foil packet over the campfire, camping is a great way to spend time with family and friends and enjoy the great outdoors!
Diz’s Café (or is that Camp Diz?) welcomed campers to our “campground” for our August 2021 “Let’s Go Camping” theme night Friday, August 20th. Campers Ed and El came in complete camp counselor costumes, camp counselor Mel (okay, customer liaison Mel) brought her camp counselor whistle to keep all the campers in-line, and we even had a family come in to “practice” camping before heading out for their first “real” camping adventure!
Self-proclaimed city girl and first-time camper Judi says “City camping at Diz’s has less mosquitoes and better food and drinks! And I learned it takes a lot of patience to roast the perfect marshmallow!”
Being the happy campers we are, we are always glad to see you at 860 Elm Street, not just during the camping season. We hope you will join us for any and all of these upcoming Diz’s Theme Nights (5 to 9 p.m.). Here’s the schedule for the rest of 2021:
