Rob, Customer Liaison

If you have been in for a meal or beverage since the beginning of the month, we hope you have had the opportunity to meet our newest customer liaison, Rob. With his quick and easy smile, Rob is ready to greet you and your guests when you stop by!

Rob’s connections to Diz’s Café run deep as his mom Mariana, dad Roberto, and sister Pamela also work in the restaurant, preparing and serving our wide variety of food and beverages. Rob’s has always worked with at least one member of his family, so he really enjoys working with all three family members at the same time!

A native of El Salvador, Rob is a graduate of Manchester West High School and lives in Manchester with his family (including puppy Kylo!). A passionate, budding artist who enjoys seeing his work come to life, Rob dabbles in digital art but has worked previously with watercolors and acrylic paints to create portraits. Rob takes great pride in his art as Dad Roberto attributes his artistic talents to his late grandfather.

While not working at Diz’s Café or developing his artistic talents, Rob likes to read true crime books, watch movies (animated ones are a favorite and play video games (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a favorite).

While serving guests at Diz’s, Rob likes greeting and talking with guests, and loves it when guests bring their dogs to enjoy our outside seating. You might just see Rob with a plate of our delicious Elm Street Tacos, his favorite meal on our menu. He says they are very “authentic”.
