Billy, General Manager and Business Partner

Billy Martin, Diz’s Café’s official mayor of Take-Out Town, has been involved with the restaurant since the very beginning. Billy and Diz met nearly 11 eleven years ago when Billy began working as a server in a local eatery Diz managed. This chance encounter not only developed Billy and Diz’s professional relationship, it forged a friendship which has led to Billy bringing his extensive restaurant experience and warm personality to Diz’s Café where as a partner in the business, he manages the front-of-the-house operations.

For Billy, there are many things to like about Diz’s Café. From the quality of the food to the fun of theme nights, Billy enjoys the restaurant’s friendly and inviting atmosphere. Managing the front-of-the-house, Manchester resident Billy has the opportunity to get to know our guests.  (And Billy also happens to like the variety of food – including the aptly-named “Boring Billy Bacon Burger”!)

Most days, you will find Billy in the restaurant creating such tasty beverages as Candy Cane Mudslides and Pomegranate Cosmos while making sure our guests receive the warm and friendly service we take pride in. When not at the restaurant, you’ll find Billy on a golf course (often with Diz!), reading a book (Stephen King and his son Joe Hill are favorite authors) and searching out local craft breweries. You might event spot Billy frequenting our neighbors at The Bookery, Strange Brew Tavern and Mint Bistro!
